Kevin DeFeo is a northwest NJ based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He is a NJ native with deep southern roots. His original songs are in the Country/Americana/Honk Tonk genre. Kevin performs often as a solo acoustic musician but also performs in several bands in different genres playing bass, dobro, lap steel and a few other instruments.

Kevin's first full length album "Southern Heart, Yankee Mouth" was released on June 1, 2024. and is available now from this website and every popular music outlet. Kevin is equally comfortable performing original and cover material in any setting. He has performed in songwriter showcases, festivals, fundraisers and has opened for national acts such as James Maddock and Thomas Gabriel and Whey Jennings.
Kevin's songwriting style has been described as heartfelt, truthful storytelling with a healthy dose of wit and humor. He writes about real life topics such as heartache, patriotism, relationships, whisky, working and remembrance. His influences include Merle Haggard, Jamey Johnson, Cody Jinks, Ward Davis, Ray Scott, Waylon Jennings and Hank Williams Sr., Billy Strings and Del McCoury.
